Arts Festival Design!

Here's another design for the Arts Festival! I watched PoTC: On Stranger Tides yesterday, so I figured I'd draw my own pirates! (I really liked it, btw, and Barbossa was ridiculously badass. I Barbossa) SO. This is Izarel(la) von Aldebrand, the Captain of BT 679 war airship, or how it is dubbed affectionately; The Executioner. She's a human/anthro/quad shapeshifter, or Kastil, as they're called in Carruthia. She's actually a Kastil/ Istai crossbreed; while Kastil are human/feral, Istai are human/anthro. So ergo, we have Izzy. (She's relatively anthro in this drawing. Her quad form doesn't have the curly hair.)

A certain exiled King, Xanthus Itera, is not fond of this certain pirate. Firstly, because she nearly (though accidentally) killed his best friend, and secondly, because she's dating the Sarakoni High General of the Army. Who also happens to be Xanthus' sister, Sylvaah. (Yes, Izarel and Sylvaah are lesbians; actually, Sylvaah's bi and usually dates men, but apparently Izzy's different) Let's just say Xanthus is trying to tolerate her for his sister's sake, but really, really dislikes her in every way possible.

Her name is actually Izarella, but she uses the masculine version of the name because 'it sounds much better.' She's one of the most ostentatious and flagrant creatures you will ever meet. Though she has a short temper and is easily set off, she's friendly enough, though a bit rough around the edges. She loves feathers and shiny things. And her hair is naturally that colour.

She speaks in a Cajun-esque sort of accent, (which is a dialect of French) and is a critter that would be likened to Earth's Striped Hyenas. No, those feathers did not come from birds. They're from gryphons.

So, you're probably thinking; Miheila, what is this ridiculousness? I don't know either. I can't stick to Victorian foxes and dudes all the time, can I? I need myself some emo wolves and pirate hyenas sometimes.

EDIT/ AHAHAHAHA I am such an idiot. I submitted her to CANINE art groups, and she's totally not a canine if we're saying she's a Hyena. I'mma moron. But her father was a Hyena-esqu Kastil and her mother a fox Istai, so she's, uh, half canine. *shot repeatedly*
